個人綜述
宋子斌博士畢業于香港理工大學酒店及旅遊業管理學院并且獲得該大學頒發的博士和碩士學位。目前宋老師在旅遊及款待業學界和業界的工作經曆今年分别有 18 年和 12 年。 此外他擔任學術期刊編委的刊物有APJTR (Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism Research), IJCHM (International Journal of ContemporaryHospitality Management), and JCTR (Journal of China Tourism Research)。
宋子斌的研究興趣主要是旅遊目的地情境中的遊客、社區居民和組織員工的行為等等。目前他的學術論文已經發表在了旅遊與款待領域知名的中英文期刊,并且絕大多數刊物屬于SSCI 或 CSSCI 類别,具體包括 Annals of Tourism Research, International Journal of HospitalityManagement, Journal of Sustainable Tourism, International Journal of Tourism Research, Journal of Travel & Tourism Marketing, 和旅遊學刊等。最近一項回顧性研究結果(Zhong et al., 2015)表明:就過去 35 年間發表有關中國旅遊學術成果數量而言宋子斌博士全球排名并列第六。 此外,宋子斌于 2011 年獲得國際凱撒/哈拉Ceaser/Harrah)最佳博士論文獎,該獎項由美國内華達州拉斯維加斯州立大學頒發。
